Hitchin Lavender Fields
Visit the lush 30 acres of lavender fields, whilst your in Stevenage. At Hitchin Lavender you can spend you day walking through the fields and picking fresh lavender flowers. Besides the flowers you can also explore the 17th century barn tea room, lavender museum, farm shop, and play area.
The main lavender field has a wide range of 60 varieties of lavender to explore, the main blooming season is between mid-June to late August so ensure you bring your cameras!
Aside to the lavender fields, there is also a Sunflower field where you can pick your sunflowers for a fee, which typically flower around August and September.
Then as the summer begins to slide away, there is a pumpkin patch to the right of the lavender fields. Pick pumpkins of all different shapes, sizes, and colours from just £2.50!
